One of the most meaningful lessons from the New York Knicks’ historic game 4 comeback isn’t simply, “Don’t give up.” It’s, “your response to adversity reveals the culture you’ve built long before adversity arrives.” The Knicks didn’t suddenly become resilient when they were down by 29 points. They didn’t magically develop trust, composure, communication, or confidence in the final seconds of the game. Those qualities had been cultivated through daily habits, countless practices, difficult conversations, and a shared commitment to the team’s mission.
