What if you don’t handle 2020 like a boss?

What if you fall apart and really mess things up this year?

What if you have to put your business on hold for a minute and secure a full time job until the pandemic is over?

What if depression really takes its hold onto you and you find yourself unable to focus?

What if your marriage falls apart this year and you lose your passion for weddings?

What if you KNOW that you are blessed beyond words, but you can’t help but focus on the negative?

Does that make you less of a boss? Nope. We “bosses” aren’t made of steel; we are humans. And, sometimes, we cry, fall apart, lose our cool, and even run away for a minute. Your comeback story — your testimony — isn’t about how you handled 2020 like a boss. When you tell your testimony, you will be able to share how the year 2020 hit you with its best shot. You fell, then you pulled yourself together in the best way that you could, and you got back up.

Hey there trailblazer!

I’m Kawania (kuh won nee ah) and I own and lead two successful businesses in the creative industry.

When I started Howerton+Wooten Events in 2007, I found myself “googling” a bunch of business questions that aren’t always discussed in business books. You know what I’m talking about, right?!? Those “start up” challenges that keep you up until the wee hours in the morning.

Believe me, I’ve been there — That’s why I launched this blog. To provide you with a resource you can reference with those “middle of the night” questions as you launch, run and scale your own successful (and sustainable) business. There’s lots of information in this blog, so bookmark it and hit me up if you have any questions. We all need a little guidance every now and then, right? Take care friend. Keep shining!

Love and Soul Always, Kawania
